<\/a>.<\/p>\nMonday, September 14 – Here are some shots of Becca from our Gibson Park excursion. She is so much fun to photograph. We went to the cabin today and put the new screens on the windows. Yuck, the flies and millers were horrid. We vacuumed a whole bunch up and that helped some, but we have to find out where in the world they are finding a place to get inside. It really ruins the cabin experience for me. I did get some photos of the old buildings and landscapes.\u00c2\u00a0We got Mom and Dad ‘s building all emptied out\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0and I got my treasures home. Mom’s cradle is just cool; unlike anything that I have seen before. Should make a perfect photo prop. Her red wagon is pretty awesome too. They sure don’t make them like that anymore.\u00c2\u00a0 It was a very bittersweet day for us all. It was so hard for Mom to go through her things and recall some of the sad times. Seeing all those charred things from the fire was really hard. It is so hard watching my folks grow older. I so appreciate all the things that they did for me through the years. I need to tell them more often how much they mean to me.<\/p>\n
