Here are a couple of shots from that day. This lantern hangs on the front of one of the big engines and they did indeed use it to see with. Can&#8217;t imagine how.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0OSHA sure would have a fit with the way these machines were equipt with safety features.
