They were being tended by Masai. Not sure what the story was of where they came from, but it was an obvious roadside tourist attraction. They wanted money for photos taken with the warriors standing with the camels. The fellow here looks like he his contemplating how much to charge. The fellow in the bottom shot was by my window negotiation price which we never did pay. A different take on ears that have had gauges in them. We saw this done by several young men at the Masai wedding we attended.
