Day 114 I Did It!!

Saturday, April 24 – Chase learned to fly fish last summer and here are some shots that Billi shared with me of his first experience. He had an excellent instructor in Brad. You can tell by his expression that he was thrilled have caught that first fish. Good for you, Chase!

Day 113 Bring On Those Oreos

Friday, April 23 – Bryton didn’t waste any time digging into the decorated Oreo that Billi gave him. A great finish to a fantastic Easter Day.

Day 112 I Hate Waking Up!

Thursday, April 22 – Gage didn’t wake up in a very good mood on Easter afternoon. I guess he had a bit too much fun at the egg hunt.

Day 111 The Old Gal

Wednesday, April 21 – Shadow is 16 years old now and still as feisty as ever. What great shape she is in too. She loves to be petted, but you better be prepared when you stop, as she will grab you by the ankle for more. She was Bobbi’s house cat when Chase was a baby, but has lived at our barn for years now.

Day 110 My Sister Isn’t The Only Diva

Tuesday, April 20 – Becca loves to pose too and she is so photogenic.

Day 109 Egg Dyeing Experts

Monday, April 19 – Some shots of the Grandkiddos dying Easter Eggs. Billi used my G11 to shoot these for me, as I was on crutches. It was such a fun day. We also filled the plastic eggs with candy for the Sunday hunt. Grandpa Walter added some $1 bills and a $5 in a few eggs. Those were the ones that were so sought after. Tristan found one, Gage got one and Emma found the final one.

Day 107 An Easter Diva

Saturday, April 17 – Here are some shots of Emma from our Easter Egg dying gathering. She is so funny and loves to ham it up for photos.

Day 106 You Are Much Better Than I Am

Friday, April 16 – Brynn is a real expert when it comes to using crutches. She has her own pair that she bought at GoodWill. She had to demonstrate with mine which are real antiques; I think they were Walter’s grandma’s. I am definitely not good with them and will be glad when they can be packed away. Brynn, you are as good as your uncle Nick was when he had his broken leg.

Day 105 What is it with Lily and Frosting?

Thursday, April 15 – Lily loves frosting; to heck with the cupcake. Remember that bright pink frosting she had on her birthday? Well, Tristan had green for his and here she is again. I am recovering from my knee surgery. The doc says 3-3-3; 3 days of taking it really easy, 3 weeks of healing and then 3 months until it is good again. He tells me no running or jumping in the future. It is not much fun dealing with the nausea from the meds. But the knee looks pretty darned good.
