Ken and I are in West Yellowstone at a photography conference. Took a  ride, between meetings, over to Old Faithful. Our timing was great. This bison was just hanging out and could have cared less about the water spouting behind.
Tiffany did a relay race through the Crazy Mountains last weekend and here are some of the photos taken during the race. Way to go, Tiffany. Bryton helped his mom run that last bit to the finish line too.
I just can’t seem to get enough of my lazy cat. Jade was soaking up some ZZZ’s and was just begging to have some photos taken again. It certainly is one way to get a cat to pose. So here goes.
Jade has been sleeping between us lately with her head on her own pillow. Pretty spoiled!
Mom had her 88th birthday today. I think she is looking darned good. I hope that I will look that good if I am blessed to reach that age. We had a lovely lunch at Jakers and lots of nice presents for a very special lady. It has been a year since Dad passed and Mom is doing very well.
We took a trip through the Montana Bale Trail on our way home from the Chokecherry Festival. Â Daughter Tiffany and the boys did three very cool bales; a spider and a fox by the Hobson Library and a very cool snail along the trail. We had a great supper in Utica before heading home. I had a great Bacon Cheese Chicken sandwich with curly fries. Pretty yummy even if it wasn’t the healthiest thing on the planet.
I let Tristan borrow my camera and you saw the wonderful results yesterday. He is growing by leaps and bounds in his photographic skills. Â Without my camera, I was left with the trusty iPhone camera and here is what I captured. It was a fabulous day and what a crowd!
Tristan is becoming quite the photographer. Here are some of his shots from yesterday at the Chokecherry Festival. He is certainly fun to work with. I also posted these photos on the Great Falls Camera Club Facebook page. Tristan is our youngest member and he already has had 214 people look at his photos on the FB page.

Tiffany and the boys made a bale for the Montana Bale Trail this year. Pretty cute isn’t it?
Emma just had to try out these shoes during our recent visit to Helena. Just try walking in those things!
