Day 245 A Different Perspective

Thursday, September 2 – Wow, here we are already in September. Fall is going to be on us soon. Love the colors that brings though, but not the colder weather. This is a shot of an old building down at the barn that is used for a calf shelter in the winter. I am not wanting to think about winter yet, for sure.

Day 244 A Bit Of Reflection

Wednesday, September 1 – Took these this morning at the barn during that nice gentle rain we were having. It turned to quite a downpour shortly, so was glad I did my shooting early. Not sure what that reflection is, but thought it was interesting just the same. Make sure to click on a photo to enlarge. Wish I could have found a spider web. Had Lily for a few hours today and she was a little card, like always. My new windows are all in but one which came cut the wrong size. Hopefully that will be in by next week.

Day 243 30 years and counting

Tuesday, August 31 – Chris is 30 years old now and sure doesn’t look or act like it. She is still hard to catch out in the pasture and can run like the wind. Pretty good for an old gal. Wish I had that much spunk. I snapped these with my G11 this morning before it started to pour. The clouds were misting at the time, but it sure gave me some nice diffused light.

Day 242 Probably Not The Best Time For A Portrait

Monday, August 30 – Becca took these of Emma on Saturday on the way to the cabin. They obviously were having a disagreement. That look would level the best of us, wouldn’t it? Go Emma!! Still raining today and we are sure glad to be done with the majority of harvest. Just a little spring grain toward the mountains to cut yet.

Day 241 Hoppy

Sunday, August 29 – Can you believe it is almost September? Where in the world did August go, or summer for that matter? Billi has these gorgeous Hops growing up the side of her house. I would bet they are enjoying this nice drink of soft rain today.

Day 240 What A Glorious Morning

Saturday, August 28 – I shot these on the way to Great Falls last week to babysit. What a glorious morning, don’t you think? Especially nice looking back, as it was foggy this morning and now is raining.

Day 239 The Wrecking Crew

Friday, August 27 – Bryton and Gage have been here for the past three days and what little sweeties they are. Grandpa calls them the wrecking crew. Tiffany sure has her hands full. They are a couple of super active little guys. Bryton gets to go first this time and then comes Mr. Smiles, Gage. Funny thing is, Gage is not usually the smiling guy. I sure love having them stay.

Day 238 The In Thing

Thursday, August 26 – These elastic band bracelets are the ‘in’ thing with my granddaughters. They bought a great assortment at Amazing Toys on Tuesday. I am sure they were wore to school on the first day.

Day 237 Celebrating The End Of Summer Vacation

Wednesday, August 25 – Today is the first day of school for the Great Falls grandkiddos and for Tristan in Fort Benton.  Teachers had to be back Monday and Tuesday, so I watched the kids for them. We had a great couple of days just celebrating the end of summer vacation and enjoying each other. These shots are from Flavors, a local ice cream shop. where we enjoyed some yummy ice cream and lots of laughs.

Day 236 Green

Tuesday, August 24 – One of my photo assignments for this week is shooting something green. Not sure if any of these will be used for submission, but I did shoot them from Billi’s deck this morning. Just one more day until school starts on Wednesday. I took the kiddos to Nanny McPhee today and then to Coldstone for ice cream. We have another big day planned for tomorrow.
