Day 196 Canvas Candidate

Friday, July 15 – Anotherset of  shots  from the macro workshop I attended in Bozeman. They had the fans on in the greenhouse which helped for a very interesting background. I shot this with the 5DM2 using the 180mm macro lens at F/3.5, ISO 100 and 1/1000s sec. It think it looks very much like a Lensbaby shot. One of these might end up as a canvas on my wall.

Day 195 Would You Like Me On Your Wall?

Thursday, July 14 – I shot this little white flower deep in an aspen grove at Fairy Creek up Bridger Canyon near Bozeman. The instructors thought I should put this shot up on my wall. I guess that means they liked it.

Day 194 Pretty Red Flower

Wednesday, July 13 – I just realized that by this date, I will be in Sedona enjoying their summer weather. My photographer friend says we will be in the monsoon season by now and enjoying beautiful evenings. Debbie and I are so looking forward to this trip. Here are some shots that I did at the macro workshop in Bozeman last weekend. We went to a great little green house for the flower shots.  This red flower just begged to be included.

Day 193 Gelato

Tuesday, July 12 – There is nothing like real Italian Gelato. There are carts and stores everywhere that sell it. Considering you don’t see ice anywhere, it sure is nice to munch on something cold. It was really hard to shoot a clear shot here, as the case was very fogged up. I got very brave and did have a dish of Creme Caramel my last night there. For some reason, I didn’t get sick from Gelato like I do from ice cream. I think it was a very good thing that I waited until the last night or I would have lived on gelato my entire stay. Make sure to click on the photo to really appreciate how yummy it looks.

Day 192 Dirty Laundry

Monday, july 11 – Makes me think of the Don Henley song, Dirty Laundry. However, I think this is all clean Italian laundry. Somehow, clean laundry just doesn’t fit those song lyrics. We walked the streets of a little town that seemed to have laundry hanging everywhere.

Day 191 Happy Father’s Day

Sunday, July 10 – Today is actually June 19 and it is, indeed, Father’s Day. I want to thank my dad for all he has done for me through the years. I feel so blessed that he is still so active at 83 and I can spend time with him like I will be today. Happy Father’s Day, Dad. These were shot last week  by Tiffany at the ranch when we went out to visit Mom and Dad. He had so much fun showing the grandkids his pride and joy – the tractors and they loved seeing them too.  He even started up one of them and of course, then the boys wanted them all started up.

Day 190 A Swimmingly Day

Saturday, July 9 – I have been MIA for a while, as I am way ahead here, so thought I better check in once in awhile. Took these down at Gibson Park with Emma, Bryton and Gage. They had so much fun harrassing the geese. It seemed to be fun , for some reason,  to watch the feathered friends jump in that blue/green colored water. It was quite the challenge to keep the boys from going in after them. Not a place I would relish swimming. They thought it was so funny when the goose would go bottoms up, like in the last shot. All were with the G11.

Day 189 What Lovely Colors

Friday, July 8 – I love these two roses; what unusual colors. I would buy them in a heart beat if I had a rose garden. Emma, I am so glad that you captured them both. You are quite the photographer and thanks so much for sharing on my blog. You can be a guest anytime.

.

Day 188 Up Close And Personal

Thursday, June 7 – What a lovely closeup, Emma. This is that 4th of July rose that you shot with the bee in flight. Nice shot up close and personal. I included one of that rose from a little farther back too. Both are beautiful shots.

.

Day 187 Here’s Looking At You

Wednesday, July 6 – What a capture of a Columbine. It looks just lik it is looking right at you. Nice one, Emma.
