My beautiful daughter-in-law has a birthday today. We celebrated a bit early yesterday. It isn’t just any day that a gal gets a homemade hot tub in her backyard.

Here we go with another beautiful sunrise coming over the mountains from my bedroom window.
Just about ready to head out to lead the 2nd monthly Great Falls Camera Club meeting that is tonight. We have been having rain showers for a couple of days now accompanied by a wee bit of fog. Misty fog at that.
This was the week for birthdays. Walter had one a couple days after mom. His idea of a great birthday is having prime rib at the Cattlemen’s Cut Supper Club
When you are the birthday girl, you get the icing roses off the cake. And then you don’t eat them because you don’t like frosting. I wonder who might have helped her finish them off?
My sis and I decided that a birthday is not complete without some birthday flowers for Mom.
Mom turned 89 years young recently. The gals in the kitchen even made a great birthday cake for her to be shared at the noon meal. And she blew out all her candles too. It would have been quite the sight if there were actually 89 candles on that cake.
Here is the Harvest Moon coming up over the Highwood Mountains from my bedroom. We do have a great view, don’t we?
We sure do get some gorgeous sunsets lately. This one was while waiting for the full moon to rise.
