Window on Cherry Pie Lane

Wednesday, April 14 – Tristan couldn’t help himself pick the only flower I have blooming outside. I have it sitting on the kitchen counter and am enjoying it’s little smiling face all day. I see that there is another one just opening today. I just had to get a shot of this little smile today.  Maybe spring really is on it’s way. However, the weather man is forecasting snow this next week. My knee surgery is tomorrow morning (the 8th). I am ahead here by a week, so there shouldn’t be any down time on the blog.

Tuesday, April 13 – Brooke borrowed my G11 to do some shooting on Easter. Here are some of the shots she took. What great compostions, don’t you think?  What a clever idea to do those reflection shots. Brooke’s favorite was the one of Tristan. It is so much fun helping the kiddos with their photography.

Monday, April 12 – This is my favorite that Chase took. That might look like a mountain sheep, but it is my Australian Shepherd, Shep. I like the lens flare here too. What a great capture, don’t you think?

Friday, April 9 – It’s your birthday today, Chase.  It was just yesterday that you were that cute little boy running around my house. Now you are handsome young man whose talents just amaze me. I am so happy that you let me shoot some photos of you on Easter that I can share today. How cool is that to be able to play clarinet, trombone, guitar and piano!! Have a wonderful Happy Birthday!

Thursday, April 8 – It is hard to believe that my first born is actually 40 today. My goodness, how did all those years fly by so fast. It seems like just yesterday when I was heading to the hospital for your birth.  I am using a picture that I think is appropriate today. Not only are these celebration candles, but you took this photo, Carl. It was for your photography class and you got a perfect on it. I love the photo and am so glad I can use it for just the perfect day.
