Wednesday, April 4 – The forecast is calling for snow again starting tomorrow night; up to 5 inches locally. Yuck!! I don’t want winter back again. Bring on spring, as I am getting the gardening itch. We are just getting started calving the big herd and this will not be good for newborn babies. We got everything ready today with the calf shacks put out and cows penned up. This was taken a couple of weeks ago when we got our last hit of the white stuff.
Tuesday, April 3 – I could not be more proud of my granddaughter!! She won the Montana State Energy Share contest by designing this poster. Her art work is featured on a billboard in town.
Monday, April 2 – Shot this one at Tiffany’s house while we were at the State Jazz Festival. I am so proud of my grandson, Chase, for being the only Great Falls student to be invited to participate. He was also the only sophomore with all the rest being juniors and seniors. It was not only an honor but a fantastic experience for him. It was a concert I will never forget.
Sunday, April 1 – Today is Mom and Dad’s 65th anniversary. Congrats to the two of them. They have been such a terrific role model to me.I feel truly blessed that I have them in my life still.
Saturday, March 31 – Can’t believe another month is almost gone. Time is flying!! These potato candies were at The Parrot in Helena for St. Paddy’s Day. Interesting.
Friday, March 30 – We made a trip down to Last Chance Gulch in Helena to treat the kiddos to some yummies from The Parrot. This candy store has been there forever and is quite famous.
Wednesday, March 28 – My daughters and I have been making trips over to Helena often to shop at the Real Foods Store for our organics. What a lovely place! It will be nice when I can get my garden up and going in a few months so we have fresh organics right out the door.
Tuesday, March 27 – I have a brand new Vitamix and my twin grandsons are enjoying the smoothies I make with it.These were shot with the iPhone and are not the best. You get the idea though of how much fun it is for them. I have made some pretty nutritious things with my new toy. It sure makes it nice to have my organic Bountiful Basket for the fresh vegies and fruit to use.
Monday, March 26 – Becca took this one of her little sis. I love it. The softness is so nice. Becca is one fantastic photographer.
