Day 212 Wish I Was Up There
Monday, July 30 – Can’t you just imagine Walter is thinking he would love to be up in that yellow plane.
Monday, July 30 – Can’t you just imagine Walter is thinking he would love to be up in that yellow plane.
Sunday, July 29 – One of my twins just finished the Missoula half marathon and then the next week completed the Cascase 100 mile bike ride. She teaches “spinning” classes at the Peak and is in amazing shape. She is also my personal trainer. And do I ever need one! I wish the orthopedic surgeons would recommend working out after surgery. I have a feeling that my knee would be in much better shape. I am determined to get it stronger by January, as we have a house in Sedona that has stairs.
Saturday, July 28 – We probably should not have had this one last meal at the airport. Our plane was delayed an hour and kiddos were hungry. As we found out shortly, not a good choice. Grandson needed a hat, so he got to take home my new Cabelas hat.
Friday, July 27 – What a beautiful day for flying. Other than a little time Tristan spent with the “barf” bag, it was a great journey.
Thursday, July 26 – Here the kiddos are on our flight taking them back home. The airlines was so nice to us and let us have all the seats in the last row. We were right by the galley and bathroom. Made it really nice for them. As you can see sleep was not long coming. When you get up at 3:30am it makes it pretty conducive to shut ones eyes.
Wednesday, July 25 – Lily is very proud of her daddy’s garden. It is one beauty, for sure. I got to see it before the plants got moved from Nick’s greenhouse. What a fantastic accomplishment to have started this all from seed. He also has a fantastic herb garden where the basil is growing like crazy. Nick says he harvests it every other day. The tomatoes, eggplant, tomatillos, pumpkins, summer squash and zucchini are going crazy.
Tuesday, July 24 – Tristan loves to fish. He and Grandpa bought a new motor for the fishing boat and took it for a spin on a lake somewhere near White Sulphur Springs. He not only loves the fishing, but loves to eat them.
Monday, July 23 – With all the smoke from the fires here, we are sure having some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Looking toward the Highwoods, first thing in the morning, on my way to feed the steers.
Sunday, July 22 – Lily was spinning so fast on the swing that she even lost a leg, or so it appears.
Saturday, July 21 – There is the neatest walk way up to the viewing point at Mt. Rushmore that is lined with the flags of all the states. Tristan had to find Montana and it’s flag, of course. You can guess who was just trying to peek in the photo.
