Mr. Cokes Hartebeest was featured a while back but found these too and thought they would be fun to see.
My granddaughter has become quite the gymnast this year. She is so devoted to the sport and has put her heart into being the best she can. Her mom just bought a new DSLR and is having so much fun learning the workings of her big camera. This shot is courtesy of her.
This little Kirk’s Dik Dik is almost too cute to be real. They are very abundant and not wild at all.
This guy looks like he could be related to the Blue Herons we have in Montana that eat our trout.
Here is a bird for Curtis. Nature sure takes care of coloring for hiding for this White Bellied Bustard.
What I wouldn’t give to be back in Tanzania! It was the trip of a lifetime and somewhere I would return to in a heart beat. Maybe sooner than I think!! This was one of those gorgeous golden sunsets.
This little guy was hard to find and even harder to get to pose. My book tells me that they are very secretive. You might say so.
Here is a pair of Common Waterbuck. The female may actually have been giving birth. We did not stick around to bother her.
