Day 276 Best Soup

imageDiscovered the greatest Deli in Albuquerque that served a fabulous salad bar and delicious soup. There was a choice of 8 kinds. I loved the Chicken Pot Pie Soup. Ken had to have his Broccoli Cheese soup. We actually ate there 4 times and loved it each time. It was right across the street from the hotel which made it pretty convenient.

Day 275 Gage and Allie

Gage decided he could ride Brooke’s new horse, Allie, just fine. And he sure enough could handle the job. Thanks for the phone photo, Bobbie.

Day 273 What a Treat!!

Ken stopped at the Air Force Academy on our way home to show me around. The chapel here is beyond spectacular. More photos of it to come when I get them edited.

Day 272 Very Important Sign

This sign is on the door to our shop. A very important sign for sure.

Day 271 That’s One Big Chair

If you have never been to the Amish Store near Eddies Corner, you have been missing a real gem. The place is run by an Amish family from Moore. It is well worth a stop. Not only do they have groceries, ice cream and fabulous made-to- order sandwiches, but the outdoor furniture is great. This “huge” chair is a sample that draws lots of attention.

Day 270 Where’s the Pizza?

Mom would have enjoyed some pizza with her beer. A ribeye steak will just have to do.

Day 269 Enjoying a Cold One

When you are 87 years old, you should be able to enjoy a cold beer like Mom is here. I had not seen her touch one in years.

Day 268 Flying First Class

I recently flew 1st Class and am hooked. This wasn’t my first time and certainly won’t be my last. Glass drinking glasses, more free bags, more leg room, fruit and unlimited free drinks. Definitely flying to Costa Rica this way.
