Day 73 Desert Flowers
We were a little bit ahead of the true wildflower season in the Arizona desert. But I did see a few. Here is one that is actually inside a cactus, as you can see.

Some members of Great Falls Camera Club took a trip down to Black Eagle Falls last Friday to search for the elusive Bald Eagle that lives there. Not much success finding the fellow though. Here are a few shots from that morning.
Here are the Mehmke men after they restored Walter F. Mehmke’s Case 110; Â Nick Mehmke, Carl R. Mehmke, Walter A. Mehmke and Carl W. Mehmke.
I invited the Camera Club out for a photographic experience at out “Bone Yard” aka junk pile. What a source of goodies that place offers; lots of texture, rust and color.
I bought Mom a new comforter for her new bed in her new room. She loves it. It does help that it is purple.
I sure wouldn’t want to run across one of these prickly pears in the dark. Would you? Ouch!
I wonder who is my photog buddy in this shot? I believe it is Tiffany and we’re both capturing or trying to capture those wild boys while we have the golden light. Bryton saw the surgeon this morning and has a new glow in the dark green cast. He needs to be seen by a hand specialist next week for evaluation on whether he is needing surgery or not.
I sure wish things would slow down for those twin grandsons of mine. They went skiing today and one ran into his brother on the ski hill. He broke both the radius and ulna. He sees the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow to decide if he needs surgery. One of the bones is displaced a bit. Â He just got over having a bout of that awful flu and so did his mom and brother. They didn’t need another health issue, for sure.
