Day 286 Off To Freezeout
We went on an outing last Sunday afternoon to Freezeout Lake to photograph the snow geese that were due to be there. It was a complete bust. Â No geese and just a few swans that were way too far away. The wind was howling and it was not nice out. When you don’t have geese, you go for what you do have. In this case it was a friend’s little guy enjoying what boys with rocks and water do. Â And shooting through the car windshield was what I did. I have found out since from my camera club, vice president, Mike, that it is thought to be due to global warming. This was the first time in 50 years that he has not seen them on Freezeout the last weekend of October. Makes one wonder.
