Day 22 Another Year Gone By

With the recent passing of so many of the rock stars that were in the same generation as I am, the arrival of this birthday rather bothers me. It also reminds me that time is passing and don’t wait around to enjoy life. Forget those who want to be miserable or make others miserable in this life and enjoy the wonderful family and friends that I have. Things do not buy happiness!  Tomorrow is never a guarantee! Enjoy life each day to the fullest. Thanks to my friend, Sara Harrell, for the photo.

Day 21 Cooking

  • Here is daughter, Bobbi, cooking one of the dishes we enjoyed at the oil party. She did the Lime Fruit Dip. I did the Spicy Chicken Breasts. Everything was fabulous. The two of us have made so many wonderful dishes in the last few months.

Day 20 Missing This

Another day of snow arrived early this morning and we are back to the white stuff on top of the ice. Dangerous conditions out there for walking. This kind of day makes me miss escaping to our cabin in the mountains. This is the one in the Highwood Mountains that we built several years ago.  A great place to retreat to for peace and quiet. Guess I should think about grabbing the snowmobile and take a ride in. We actually had Thanksgiving there one year. This is certainly not the view one would have right now.

Day 19 Go Rosemary!

The little stinker is on her way to get moving.

Day 18 Yummy

We made some really yummy things at the do Terra workshop, as you can see. There were also dessert bars, hot chocolate and a fabulous punch. Bobbi and I do quite a bit of cooking with oils and all have been delicious.

Day 17 Loving Essential Oils

I went to a doTerra party for making cleaning supplies and we cooked a wonderful meal, all using essential oils. It was so much fun. All three of my girls and my daughter-in-law use essential oils, along with me. Since we started, Walt and I have not had as much as a sniffle. The girls use them for everything too.

Day 16 Jade Inspecting the Organics

Jade is pretty interested in my organic basket from Bountiful Baskets. She seems to think she might like the fennel. It was a very interesting day at the site. Our truck had trouble and was 3 hours late. Being the VSC and in charge of the site is rather fun when this happens. My volunteers and backups are fabulous though and all the contributors were very understanding. I guess those Arizona trucks are not used to Montana weather, as the truck was froze up.

Day 15 Rather Be Inside?

One of my Ficus trees sure thinks it prefers to be inside. Much more pleasant to look out at that cold, bare Cottonwood tree. Another nice Camera Club meeting last night, even though we had ice to deal with. A good attendance, even considering the weather. It is so nice being here to lead meetings still, even though I am missing the warm Arizona weather.

Day 14 Snow Returns

Snow returned yesterday. One can’t see very far with the heavy downfall. You can actually see a deer in the background braving the weather.
