Day 106 Handouts

Everywhere we traveled there were people asking for candy or money along the road. Children had been well trained, even in the rural Masai villages. When they saw a vehicle coming, out they ran with hands out ready for whatever we were willing to share. This group of girls had money in mind. As you can see they were pretty happy with what they received. The funny thing is, they would turn down any bills that were not in good condition; no tears or wrinkles. We found that the same thing happened at businesses. If ever traveling to Africa, make sure that the bills you take along are new and crisp. I knew this ahead of time and made sure I did. I was surprised that even the children were picky about what they got.

Interesting how they carry those huge objects on their heads.
