Day 124 On To The Flowers

Monday, May 4 – I started my Flowers photography class and here are a few that I shot so far. I am not sure what the first plant is, but the 2nd is a white bleeding heart.  More to come tomorrow – Orange Oriental Poppies.

I **like** ’em! Particularly the red ones!

Did you use your 100mm, or your 50, or something else?

I used my 24-105mmL for the red ones and my 100mm macro for the white bleeding hearts. I have been switching back and forth between those two now. I used to use the 28-135mm, but it is acting up. The focusing ring stuck when I was manually focusing the other day and made a funny noise when it broke loose. Now it doesn’t seem to have a stop on the focus from max to min. The inside tube has always had a lot of play and now seems to even have more. I took it in to Public and they said to just use it until it totally stopped working before we send it in. I love that lens, so will definitely get it fixed.
