Day 248 Racing To The Moon
Saturday, September 5 – There was a gorgeous full moon last night, as well as a bright red sun going down. I guess there must be a fire somewhere for that effect. I was in town and couldn’t get to a place fast enough to shoot that sun, but got this of the moon on my way home. It looks like this school bus could be taking the passengers for a quick trip to see the moon. The first two photos are right be where the old Bar S was and the last one was on my private road to the house. Had Becca and Emma here after school yesterday to pet/chase kittens again. I think those two would sit there all day if allowed. They did succeed in catching Tiger, Kit Kat, Scout Jr. and Hershey; all very original names, don’t you think? We went to Goode’s for supper and had some awesome Barbecue. Did a photo shoot with a friend earlier in the day of a 5 month old boy who was as cute as a bug. I have my photos to go through today and get submitted for class. Then maybe will head up to our cabin for some relaxation.

I feel bad for whoever’s on that bus. 😀 But the pictures are lovely.
I love these moon shots. The two with the bus driving down the road give the photo so much depth. I love the lighting and color of the one of the moon coming over the mountains.
I hope you can make it to the cabin today for a little bit of relaxation. That sounds like fun and I wish I was there to spend the day hanging out with you.

Well done! If you could have had (I am sure time didn’t permit it) a longer lens think of what the Moon would look like over the bus! And perhaps maybe a slightly longer exposure for more detail on the moon, but that could come out with a little post processing too.
But very well done as is!
