Day 254 Very Dreary Weather
Saturday, September 11 – What a dreary day it was today!! Shot this one over by Highwood. The clouds were right down low. Everywhere you look there are bales of either straw or hay. There is a combine right behind those bales waiting to start cutting. What great crops we had this year. It is just too bad that the prices aren’t better. I feel very sorry for the farmers who still have spring grain out in the fields waiting to be harvested. No cooperation from the weather, but everything is sure staying green.

Love these two photos but I think my favorite is the bottom one. Can’t tell you why, though. It rained again today but the sun managed to peek out a bit as well.
