Day 5 Happy Birthday, Cheryl
Wednesday, January 5 – Today is my dear friend, Cheryl’s Birthday. Happy ??? Birthday!! I hope you get that iPad you want. In honor of your big day, here is a backlit silhouetted Geranium that has been in my kitchen all year. It is in full bloom right now. Tiffany gave the plant to me for Mother’s Day. I think I almost enjoy it now more than in the summer. I am including two pics, as I am not sure which I like better; the one with a touch of red or the one almost totally black. I put them in the window and meter on the light coming from them. The camera reads that light and silhouettes them. The light is behind them, thus back lighting. I point the camera at the window light, shutter half way down, then move over to the flower and take the pic. Really fun thing. Happy Birthday!!
