Day 56 Look Out For Elk!!
Friday, February 25 – Instead of Watch For Deer signs, you see Watch for Elk signs around Flagstaff, AZ. Isn’t this sing pretty? They truly do have an elk problem there. We saw so many dead elk laying along the road that had been hit. One morning there were 5 of them all in a group. I would imagine that a semi hit them in the night.Not a place I would advise driving after dark.

I absolutely love seeing elk but probably not after dark on the road. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “watch for elk” sign before.
I wouldn’t want to hit an elk. If a deer destroys a car, imagine what an elk would do.
