Day 114 Goodbye, Mom(Martha, Grandma, Great Grandma)
Sunday, April 24 – Easter Sunday. A bittersweet day, as we lost Martha yesterday. The last three months have not been a pleasant existence for her since the incapacitating stroke.  Her suffering is over now and she was very ready to go. She will be very missed by all, family and friends alike. Lots of lovely memories though. I thought these photos were appropriate. I am sure that she had this view of the sunset many times from her house. A beautiful sunset signifying an end to a life very well lived. May you sleep in peace now in your Heavenly Father’s arms. You will be very missed but, will live on through your  beautiful children, grand and great grandchildren.

Such beautiful sunset photos and a wonderful tribute to Martha. It sounds like her last few months of life were not good ones since the stroke. She’s at peace now, thankfully. Hugs and prayers to the Mehmke family.
These are glorious Easter photos and to pay tribute to Martha with, also. She is at peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Walter and your whole family.
